"Mohamed Amra must absolutely be defended," says his lawyer, Hugues Vigier.

Drug trafficker Mohamed Amra, on the run since his bloody escape in May 2024 and arrested Saturday in Romania after nine months on the run, was indicted on Tuesday, February 25, for murder, attempted murder, escape, theft and receiving stolen goods, all as part of an organized gang, as well as for criminal conspiracy, the prosecution explained, specifying that he had remained silent before the investigating judge. He is now presented to a judge of liberties and detention who must decide on his placement in pre-trial detention.
